Euphoria In Nirvana

Look for the girl
With a lingering tint of a fading smile
With the moon, sun and stars in her eyes.

Look for the girl that feels like home,
Like the book you keep on reading
And never want to end,
Like the roses you keep on smelling
And never want them to die,
The one who’s first and last in your mind,
The sinner of all time and you the knight.

Look for the girl who likes your flesh
But more so, the soul in your depth.

Is that a poem? Or a book? Or just a phrase? Forgive my ignorance. 😄

A song on the Sergeant Peppers album. “Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes. And she’s gone” A catchy psychedelic song at the time, and it works in your poem too.
